Your journey in life is invariably shaped by the standard of education accorded to you. This by and large, is sculptured in the secondary school you attended as a youngster. We the charleans are indeed grateful to our forebears who set up a wonderful environment in Osogbo where we spent five years being thought about life in the big wide world.

Looking back, we now realise how we were brilliantly fed the most delicious food for thought. Self reliance and respect for elders and a mind that should always question ideas you are not comfortable with - just to name but a few,

The effect of a cultural bomb is to annihilate a people’s belief in their names, in their languages, in their environment, in their heritage and ultimately, in themselves. It is our objective to make sure the ethos and aims of the founding fathers of this wonderful institution are honoured, respected and maintained in the spirit we the charleans seductively adhere to.

In this charleans Publication, we aim to create and publish informative and educational materials as our contribution to the crusade for the preservation and promotion of st. Charles Grammar school Osobo. This is our generation and the grass lawns at st. Charles Osobo has made us what we are today. It is the one thing that makes us who we are as Charleans, so it is our responsibility to ensure it is kept alive for posterity.

We will foster peace and unity amongst Charleans worldwide. This is to ensure that the spirit of the alma mater and the doctrines indulged by our logo, "HUMILITAS" is constantly held at focus and remans the bastion of our collective aspiration, hope and tendencies to creatively evolve as champions.
